Apadent Total Care toothpaste is a comprehensive dental care solution, a unique development by Sangi (Japan) patented by NASA. Its primary active ingredient, nano-mHAP®, ensures dental health and strength, effectively preventing cavities (on average by 46%). Three main functions of APADENT toothpaste:
1. Effectively removes dental plaque. Nano-mHAP binds to proteins, attaching to bacterial plaque, breaking it down, and facilitating its removal during brushing and rinsing. Nano-sized particles enhance this property by increasing the protein-binding surface area.
2. Restores enamel micro-cracks, making it smooth and strong. Nano-mHAP acts as a filler, repairing microscopic damage to enamel surfaces. Nano-sized particles further contribute to smoother and shinier enamel, less prone to plaque and stains.
3. Restores the mineral balance of teeth, defeating cavities. Nano-mHAP independently restores the enamel's mineral balance, remineralizing demineralized areas beneath the enamel surface (where cavities begin) and returning enamel to an almost pristine state.

Hydroxyapatite in Apadent Total Care is structurally and compositionally 97% identical to tooth enamel. This paste, through remineralization, restores damaged tooth areas' integrity, offering both preventive action against cavities and relief from enamel hypersensitivity.
APADENT Total Care also contains three active ingredients preventing periodontal diseases:
- Cetylpyridinium chloride - reduces dental plaque formation
- Triterpenic acid - anti-inflammatory, promotes wound healing, and acts as an antioxidant
- Beta-glycyrrhetinic acid - an active anti-inflammatory agent that narrows capillaries, reduces swelling, and protects against periodontal diseases. Found in licorice root extract.
